Knowing some passengers in a European city in a universe, they may be shocked to find out that they have been walking over ancient skeletons for many years.
Belgium’s Brussels officials announced April 9 that public work projects have discovered at least 30 skeletons in the city center – and more may still come.
Archaeological excavations began when workers recently stumbled across the skeleton while working on tram tracks.

Persuons identified the masses as the remnants of the old Saint-Jin Hospital founded in 1195.

The Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (MVIB) and the city’s public water operator Vivakoa are being excavated with the help of Vivakoa workers.

In a video posted by MVIB, the company wrote that the “centuries old cemetery” was found when staff worked on the tram tracks at the Regenttrat of Central Brussels.

In the past several months, discovering is one of the many European mass graves.
Last summer, 50 “exceptionally well preserved” Viking skeletal archaeologists invented Denmark.
