As Masters starts this week, hurricane destruction has altered Augusta National with fewer trees

In August of Georgia, the best golfer in the world gathered for the Master’s Tournament this week, some players are already noticed a significant change in the iconic landscape. These changes will be detected by about 5,7 fanfiers visiting Augusta to take the tournament from Thursday to Sunday.

In September, the storm of six categories was hit, spread to the south -east, and several hundred trees were dropped to the National National.

“Our Augusta community has faced a catastrophic and historic tihassic influence from Hurricane Halin,” Ridley said.

“If you are feeling extremely dangerous then there is some gap on the left side of the tree where you can hit it through it,” said Gender Shaffel according to AP.

“I was looking at the tree. I almost thought I was playing the back for the first time,” said nine -time PGA Tour winner.

Skefel also said that it was “quite crazy and sad” to see how many trees were removed due to the storm.

Augusta National is famous for its great magnolia tree, which lends their names to the iconic “Magnolia Lane” at the club’s entrance.

The names of many holes in the course are named after the tree or flower, such as the second “pink dogwood” and the thirteenth hole “Azalia”.

Zone Rahm further shared that he heard the conversation about the new route in the tenth.

According to the AP, Rahm said, “Someone told me that you can hit a high cut on top of the cabins in 10. I don’t believe it,” Rahm said, according to AP.
