The speech hall of an “impressive high school” from ancient Greek settlements was recently unveiled in Italy – the invention highlighted the match between ancient and modern schools.
The Free University of Berlin announced the search for a press release on April 9. The excavation was excavated on the south -west coast of Sicily.
Agento was established as the largest Greek colony in Sicily in 5 BC. This settlement was proud of both a high school and a grammar school – yet the Complex speech hall was discovered only last March.

University officials described the hall as “a small covered theater that can arrange about 200 people in the elevated, semicircular rows,” said a statement translated from German to English.
It also said, “When the grammar school was built in the 2nd century BC, no other known grammar school provided the national lecture hall in the ancient world. Only 250 to 300 years later, the large high school of Pergamon (Turkey) received an auditorium like a theater.”

Archaeologists also received an inscription that indicates that the gymnasium was funded by a citizen who dedicated the structure of the Greek gods.
The statement said, “The head of the gymnasium is mentioned in the Gymnasiac and the roof renewal of the apoditarium, which a liberal citizen financed from his own resources and dedicated to the gods of Gymnasium, Hermes and Heracles,” the statement.
