Phoenix – Chris Sales won the first time this season and Atlanta Bravs defeated Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 on Friday night.
Austin Riley and Eli White each drove for two runs for Brav, who won six of their last seven. Bravs’s first win against a national league West team this season after the start of the 0-7 season in San Diego and Los Angeles.
Sales (1-2) threw 104 pitch over five innings, but he came out of the trouble and just left a run. The 2024 NL C Young Award winner has allowed five hits with two walks and four strikeouts and its ERA dropped from 6.17 to 5.40.
White scored the first run in the second of three runs with their three runs in the second of their three runs. White started on the right field after three runs in the eighth innings of a 3-1 win against St. Luis on Wednesday.
Galen (1-5) went five innings for Diamondback, allowed three runs and five hits. He has thrown 103 pitch. In Atlanta Ashtami, Yelbar Daz scored three goals with OG Albis, White and Riley Driving three times.
Arizona’s Corbin Carroll was 1 for 5 with a triple and a home run upside down in the Crew Chief Review. Carroll entered Friday for the Major League Lead with nine Homer.
Eugeno Suarez’s thrown error with two on and two with two, with a pair of sixth to the Atlanta run and make the score 5-1.
Bravs won only the third time this season against 5 losses this season. Simply worse than the Colorado (1-14) home.
Atlanta RHP Grant Holmes (2-5, 1.22) face Arizona RHP Merrill Kelly (1-3, 5.7373) on Saturday.
