London – Transgender women will be directly banned from cricket in women and girls in England and Wales.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said Friday that it updated previous restrictions after the UK Supreme Court verdict last month.
The ECB said on Friday, “With the immediate impact, whose biological sexes can only play in women’s cricket and girls’ cricket matches,” the ECB said Friday. “Ezra women and girls can continue to play in open and mixed cricket.”
The announcement was made a day after the Football Association was banned from playing in women’s Soccer teams in England and Scotland.
From the beginning of this year, the elite women’s elite women’s cricket had already been banned from the top two levels of cricket, but she was allowed to compete in lower levels with entertaining cricket.

The UK Supreme Court issued a verdict two weeks ago that defined a woman for anti -discrimination as a woman born biologically. The head of the equality and human rights commission said after the verdict, the women of Ezra would be excluded from women’s toilets, hospital wards and sports team.
Although this verdict was encouraged by some feminist groups, it was condemned by the Trans-Rights Groups who said that it would have a broad and harmful effect on everyday life.
The issue is also polarizing the United States, especially in the United States, where President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to ban the participation of Hijra athletes in the sport and to use a rigid definition of gender instead of the federal government for the federal government. The orders are being challenged in court.
Finea Metener, the director of the sexual Matters Charity campaign, said: “The ECB’s two-level policy was never consistent. The top edge of the women’s game was limited to the female-A. It showed that men understood the size and strength of men who gave women a wrong benefit in sports.
“But it was inevitable to protect the other 5 female cricketers in England and Wales when they face male bowling and batting.”
A spokesman for the LGBTU+ Charity Agency Stonwal said: “The effects of the Supreme Court verdict have been made soon before the lawyers and politicians or politicians work before working, the recent decisions of sports companies have been made soon to ban women from sports from sports.
“This is extremely frustrating because some of them are long -term and our Rainbow Lace promoters are supportive of promoting, suggesting for the inclusion of sports at all ages and all levels.”
