Knicks advance and face tough test against defending champion Celtics in 2nd round of NBA playoffs

Detroit – New York Nix took a big step to strengthen their roster, adding Carl-Antony City and Mikal Bridge in hopes of fighting for the title of NBA.

Nixes are about to find out what it takes.

New York defeated Detroit Pistons 116-113 in their first round series Game 6 by setting up a matchup with Boston Celtics.

Game 1 on Monday night in Boston, where the second-descendants will try to facilitate the home-court against Nix of the third descent.

“They are the defending champions so we have to be the best,” Nix coach Tom Thibodou says.

Although Detroit challenged Nix in closely competitive series, they know that the next test will be even more rigorous.

“We are playing against the defending champ the next time we are playing against the defending champ,” said Jalen Brunson, who made 4-points 4-points with 1.5 seconds left on Thursday night and earned 40 points. “Celtic has experience. (Pistons) we had to fight and we had to respond and we did that.”

Winning in four New York-Datroit Games had three or fewer points, which was identified for the second time in NBA history. Boston and Philadelphia were the only other team to do this in the final of the 9th conference.

New York has become aggressive with the goal of losing the second round in the last two years and the first time after 20 years.

Towns was acquired for the first round from Minnesota, three-time All Star Julius Randel and Dont Divinsenzo, who created a single season franchise record for 3-points last season.

Brooklyn Roster was taken for four first rounds.

When the Town was relatively quiet in Game 6, earned 10 points and hold 15 Rebound, the bridges were one of the best players in the court.

The 28 -year -old small forward had 25 points, four rebounds, three aids and a block in the series final.

Brunson said, “I (the bridges) and I would not be in that position except the way he played.” “Obviously, everyone is going to say a lot about the last shot, but all over the game, its rise -we all composed, and it was great. I give my teammates a lot of credit.”

“Once he got some separation, I knew it was the screen,” the Bridge said.
