United cuts 35 daily flights at Newark, citing shortage of air traffic controllers

New York – Passengers at the Newark Liberty International Airport or with flights on Saturday faced a long delay and cancellation due to a shortage of air traffic controllers, the Trump administration promised to fix the nationwide problem.

The busy airport outside New York City disrupted the whole week. Federal Aviation Administration is convicted of failure to address the “long-excitement” challenges in the administration of the Federal Air-Traffic Control system, the United Airlines has cut 35 daily flights from Saturday to its Neck Schedule.

CEO of United CEO Scott Kirby says the technology used to operate aircraft at New Jersey Airport failed multiple times in recent days. He said the delay, cancellation and diversion of the flight that were caused by the tools that were caused by the traffic controllers of the network “came out of the job,” he said.

“This special air traffic control facility has been reduced for many years and without these controllers, it is now clear – and the FAA has informed us that the Newark Airport cannot handle the number of planes scheduled there within weeks and months,” he wrote in a letter to the customers.

The Airport State report from FAA data that the workers’ problems cause about two hours of average delays for some arriving flights in the net and 45 minutes for departure.

Two days ago, the Neerk Liberty International Airport indicated the staffing issue and “construction” while warning travelers about the delay.

The Trump administration says they are trying to “supercharge” the Air Traffic Controller worker and are trying to deal with the controller’s deficit. US Transport Secretary Shan Duffy announced a program on Thursday to appoint new controllers and encourage existing persons not to retire.

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, a Workers Union, said that these steps could help deal the staff deficit, but it also said that the system is “long discount for technology and infrastructure development.”

Duffy said on Friday that “he visited with our hard -working air traffic controllers because we work to solve this tool caused by the old technology.”

The decision to bring back its flight schedule to the Nearke in United is already in uncertain time for US airlines. Possible customers are reviewing whether President Donald Trump’s trade war will do in the war economy for all unknown work or leave for holidays.

The uncertainty is so high that United has taken unusual steps to give two separate predictions for how it can perform financially this year this year: a recession, and if not one.
