ST. Louis – The game between St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets scheduled for Saturday was suspended due to rain and would be made as part of a split doubleheader on Sunday.
On Friday night, St. Louis defeated Mets’ nine-game win in the series by beating St. Louis 4-1. New York removed a four-game set in City Field last month and the last two in the Sunday’s Games season series.
Mets announced that the Prospect Blade Tedwell will debut the big league in the first game against St. Louis St.-Hander Eric Fed (1-3, 1.6868 ERA). Tedwell, 23-year-old Rati, this season has 1-2 with 5.00 ERA in six of the triple Syracuse. He made 37 out in 27 innings.
In the second game, Andre Palant (2-2, 4.1) will start the cardinal against Tyler Megil (1-2, 1.7474), who was supposed to start on Saturday against the Fed. Both Palant and Megil are decades of rights.
Early on Saturday, Memphis’ right-handed Michael McGogrivi in Cardinals Triple to add a bullpen depth, which is already due to Dubalheaded Wednesday in Sinseini and a rain delay in Thursday’s game, was already set to start the start of Starter Mathew Liberato.
McGrive was supposed to start the Memphis game on Saturday. He was 3-1 with a 4.08 ERA in Memphis last year and he was 3-0 with 1.96 ERA in four games with three starting for St. Louis last year.
The Reliever Roddy Mouse was given an alternative to Memphis to make a place for McGrive.
