Female of experimental pig kidney replacement in dialysis after the new organs fail
Although the physicians have now returned to dialysis, the experience has provided very much information about the doctor’s resolution.
Loi told the Associated Press, “Although no one wants the result, I know I have learned a lot about pig kidney from that day – and it can help and inspire many more on their journey to overcome kidney disease,” Loi told the Associated Press.
According to a report by AP, Luni has been receiving dialysis since 20 2016 and was abnormally to reject a human kidney.
From the process, he has called himself “superwoman” and has been able to live longer than any of the gene-edited pigs. Lunie had the limb from the transplant on November 25 in early April.

The Massachusetts man dies 2 months after becoming the first person to get a successful pig kidney transplant
Lunny surgeon Dr. Robert Montgomery says the rejection is being investigated.
He and his physicians have decided that it would be less risky to remove pigs’ kidney than trying to save it.
“We did the safe job,” Montgomery told AP. “He was nothing worse than ever (genotransplant) and he would tell you that he was better because this was a 4 -month break from dialysis.”
Montgomery said that Loi was infected before infection and its anti -resistance drugs were somewhat reduced, Montgomery said. At the same time, its resistance was reactivated after replacement. He said these reasons could be combined to damage the new kidney.

More than 1,5 people are on the list of US transplants, most of whom they need kidney and thousands of die. In the hope of meeting the deficiencies of the organs made, several biotech companies are genetically correcting pigs, so their organs are more humane, less likely to be destroyed by human immune system.
