CVS Health rides improving Medicare business to better-than-expected first quarter

After the CVS Health Medicare benefits have improved, Wall Street has increased its 2025 forecast on expectations, contributing better than the first trimester.

The Healthcare Giant said on Thursday that it was also encouraged from better star ratings for his Medicare Advantage plans, which is the personal managed version of the Federal Government Coverage Program.

For the whole year, CVS Health is now expected to be adjusted earnings from $ 6 to $ 6.20 per share.

The company predicted in February earning $ 5.75 to $ 6 per share. Analysts expect $ 5.92.

Rhode Island OUNSCK -based CVS Health Corporation operates one of the largest pharmaceutical shops in the country and a huge pharmacy benefit management business that operates drug coverage for employers, insurers and other large clients. It also covers 27 million people through its insurance forces.

The company also said on Thursday that it would leave the unique market for affordable care law next year. It currently covers about one million people in that market across 17 states.
