Many travelers in Istanbul, Turkey, can find themselves in one of the most beautiful sacred places in the world: Hagia Sofia.
The ancient temple attracts several visitors from the west. It is known for history as Christian Basilika for almost a thousand years before the mosque during the Ottoman Empire.
Officials are now built between 532 and 537 AD from the threat of the earthquake – the Historic Tihasik domes of the monument are working to preserve.

Associated Press (AP) said the reform would strengthen Hagia Sofia’s main domes and half domes, replace the dilapidated lead covering and upgrade the steel structure, the Associated Press (AP) said.
In 1935, Mostafa Kemal Atarque, the founder of the Modern Republic, transformed Hagia Sofia into a museum.

Mehmet Selim Octan, construction engineer and members of the scientific council are overseeing the reform, AP said a “new episode” of construction is about to begin.

“At the end of these three years, we concentrated on the safety of the earthquake of Hagia Sophia, Minerats, main domes and original arches, especially because of the expected Istanbul earthquake,” Okan said.

The reform was destroyed after the earthquake of magnitude 7.5 in southern Turkey in 2021.

Orken said that construction workers would be more safely reformed and “the building levels would be able to examine academically, it was according to the AP with fire and earthquake damage in the tenth and 14th century.”
