Gilbert leaves start early for Mariners and Moore’s error helps Marlins win 8-4

Seattle Starter Logan Gilbert went with three perfect innings after the right arm went on with tight, and Dylan Moore, the second, made two out errors that defeated Miami Marlins 4-1 with six runs.

Gilbert threw 29 pitchs for strikes. He launched eight shutout innings against Miami last season in one of his two roads against Marlins.

RHP Connor Gillispi (0-2, 6.75) begins for Marlins on Saturday. Counter (2-2, 4.44) with Mariners RHP Luis Castillo.
