After the Mariners pulled between-4-5 in the sixth, Ruki Marlins Catcher Aguestan Ramrez responded to his first career Homer in Ashtami, with two shots.
Gilbert threw 29 pitchs for strikes. He launched eight shutout innings against Miami last season in one of his two roads against Marlins.
RHP Connor Gillispi (0-2, 6.75) begins for Marlins on Saturday. Counter (2-2, 4.44) with Mariners RHP Luis Castillo.
