Anahim, California – General Manager Pat Verob announced that Greg Cronin was dismissed on Saturday as an Anahim duck coach after two seasons.
“He is responsible for the improvement we have seen from our young core in various ways. “It was a very difficult decision for me to do it, but I felt we needed to continue to progress to the Stanley Cup contest that I know that we can be.”
Kronin’s first coach has been dismissed since the regular season ended on Thursday with the expectation of further change in the vicinity of the league. There are interim coaches in Chicago and Philadelphia.
Daks missed the play-offs in the seventh season, finished 35-37-10. Their 80 points had improved 21-point compared to last year, but it was not enough to save the work of chronin.
Kronin posted a 62-87-15 record in two seasons. He joined the ducks after five seasons with the Colorado Ag Gols of the American Hockey League. AG Gols are an allowed of the Colorado snowflake.
