High school lacrosse player dies at 16 after serious injury during game

A high school Lacros player in Ohio died at the age of 16 after a weird accident this week.

Dylan Vesselic, a Sofmore at Bay Village High School, died after taking a ball in the head two days ago on Thursday.

Vesselic was injured after a shot from an opponent hit the back of his head under his helmet. He had surgery on Wednesday, but it was not enough.

The family said in a statement: “We have shown the overwhelming support and kindness shown by our community and beyond it.

“Dylan was a dedicated student and athlete and we were heartbreaking by this loss,” Bay Village School Superintendent Scott said in a statement via Cleveland.com. “Counseling services are available at Bay High School for students, workers and families who need support.”

In honor of Vesselic, a fund raising has raised more than $ 80,000; Its goal was only $ 500.
