Arlington, Texas – Bi-opened star Shohee Ohitani is now a father.
Los Angeles Dodgery Sligger posted on Instagram on Saturday that his wife gave birth to a girl. Manager Dave Roberts acknowledged the news in an in-game interview after losing the LA 3-1 at the Texas Rangers on Saturday.
“Congratulations sho!” Roberts announced that he was not sure what the child’s name was.
30 -year -old Ohtani missed the first two games of the series in combination with the last two World Series champions. Before Saturday’s game, Roberts said that there was no update about his baby, but he was optimistic that Ohtani would join the club again to finish the series on Sunday.
The Japanese star said that he and his wife, 21 -year -old professional basketball player Mamiko Tanaka, are expecting a baby in 2021.
“I am very grateful to my loving wife who gave birth to our healthy, beautiful daughter,” Writani wrote on Instagram. “To my daughter, we are very nervous yet thank you for being very worrying parents.”
