Tokyo – Japanese regulators on Tuesday echoes similar steps in the United States and Europe, accusing Google violating the exclusive anti -law of Google.
Google Japan said in a statement that it was “regretable” this step. It says that it has invested significantly in Japan to promote innovation as a technology leader.
The Japan Fair Trade Commission’s “stop and decisive order” states that Google must stop pre-instability of Google search engine on Android smartphones, which has effectively stopped the competition.
Alphabet Inc., located in the Mountain View of Silicon Valley. It is unclear whether its auxiliary agency will take legal action to fight Google Order.
In the United States, a judge ruled last year that Google’s ubiquitous search engine illegally exploited its dominance in the squash competition. Google has denied the allegations, arguing that it is extremely popular because people like what it gives. The appeal process may take several years.
Japanese regulators started investigating them in Google in 2021. They say they work on the same case with foreign authorities.
European regulations also condemned what Google sees as the monopoly domination.
For the first time on Tuesday, the Japan Fair Trade Commission has taken this national action against a major global technology company.
