Meta apologizes for a mistake that results in graphic and violent images that some Instagram users appeared in the reel feed.
“We have set an error that some users wanted to see their Instagram Reel Feed that should not be recommended,” Meta said in a statement on Thursday without giving details about the nature of the problem.
Multiple Instagram users came a day to seek gore and violence in the form of short-form videos as “not safe for work” on their reels tab and marked a “sensitive content” label.
According to the company’s policy, Meta tries to protect users from annoying content and to remove graphic or violent elements in particular.
