Metal detectorists find silver Dacian treasure dating back thousands of years in Romania

Two metal detectors recently came across the millennium-old treasure in a small European village.

The Facebook post mentions that the silver was “worn by prominent members of the Dasian elite on various special occasions”, but the officers are not sure whether the stash is included in a man or a woman.

The total weight of silver was about 1.2 pounds.
