NBA playoffs: Refs eject Pacers’ Bennedict Mathurin after incident

Cleveland Cavaliers Forward D’Andre Hunter and Indiana Pacers Guard Benndict Mathurin were involved in a demonstration on Sunday night in their Game 4 Play -Off matchup.

In the first quarter, the incident took place 4:32 when the pacers moved towards the 12-point lead. The Indiana showed Hunter to throw the ball when Hunter was seen shaking the ground in the broadcast. Pacers star Miles Turner is involved in protecting Mathurin.

When Hunter seemed to have begun the incident, the replay showed that the Indiana hit Mathurin Hunter in a midsection to drop the ball. Hunter walked towards Mathurin, showed him and pushed him to the floor.

Officials assessed Mathurin a clear second foul after a review. They spread the technical fouls to Hunter and Turner.

Hunter and Mathurin had some beef during the series. During a dunk in Game 1, Mathurin challenged Hunter on the rim. Their competitive styles got two double technical fouls because of the referee’s favorite line in Game 3.

The Indiana series led the arrival at 2-1 game 4.

The pacers finish 38-23 in the first quarter on Sunday night. 53.8% from the Indiana field and 60% from the 3-point range from the shooting game.

Cavaliers shot only 26.7% from the field at the first quarter and 37.5% from the 3-point range.
