New Orleans – New Orleans Pelicans have appointed Joe Dumors – a former NBA champions and executives with Detroit Pistons – as executive vice president of their basketball operation.
619 -year -old Dumer’s David took charge for Griffin, who was dismissed after the six -year move on Monday, which matched with the draft of the power forward Seon Williamson in the 21st.
The first order of Dumors’ business will decide whether coach Willie Green will hold Green, who has been one year left in his contract. Next, he has to decide whether the pelons are about to build around the injured Williamson-who missed more games than that-or dealing with him somewhere else.
Dumors played on behalf of Detroit teams who won the NBA title in 1989 and 1990. When they won another title in 2004, he also operated the Pistons Front Office.
He has worked at the Dumer’s Sacramento Front Office since leaving Piston in the 21st and recently served as the head of the Basketball operation for the Executive Vice President and the NBA.
