Sam Surridge scores 4 goals, Mukhtar adds 2 more as Nashville beats Fire 7-2

Nashville, Ten. – Sam Surj scored four goals in a club record, Hanny Mukhtar added a goal and Nashville SC defeated Chicago Fire -2-2 on Saturday night.

Nashville’s coach Bijay Kalahan defeated his former boss and current fire coach Greg Barhalter at their first meeting. Calhan served as an assistant to the US men’s national team under Behalta and became the interim director after the expiry of the Berhaltar contract in December 2022.

Suriz-in one of the four goals in a game, MLS opened the scoring when converted from the spot in the 19th player-18th minute, and Jisson Palacios played his first goal at MLS by Mukhtar in 22-2.

Mukhtar added a goal in the 26th goal-when he tapped the rebound from the point-blurred range to the rebound-and it made it 5-0 3-0 before the Suriz’s penalty during the first half stop. Nashville became the fifth team in the history of the MLS history scored five goals in the first half of the match and the first after Philadelphia on July 8, 2022.

Surrej’s defense went back to the 50th and 57th minute with a goal in counter-attack and turned it-0-0.

Philip Zinkarnagel scored for the fire in the Throughs, and Hugo Quipers scored on 71th place with AT -2-2.

Chicago (1-5-6) is not a winner in five games drawn.

Suriz (two) and Mukhtar (four) are the only players who have recorded multiple hat-tricks in Nashville (1-5-6).
