Police and fire crew were responding to a boat accident that injured several people near Clearwater in Florida. Clearwater police department said the exact number of injuries was not immediately known, but the fire department announced it as a genocide, Clearwater police department said.
Police said at least two people were “more seriously injured” were taken to the helicopter, police said.
Police said a clearwater ferry carrying more than 5 people was in a collision with another boat, which escaped from the accident. Police said all the injured people rose to the ferry, which “came to rest in a sandbar just south of the memorial’s Causeway Bridge,” police said. All the passengers, including the injured persons, were removed from the ferry.
The Coast Guard said it was reported that the other boat was an entertaining car.
The Clearwater Memorial Coseway Bridge connects Clearwater and Clearwater Beach.
