Skubal strikes out 11 in 6 innings as Tigers complete 3-game sweep of Orioles, 7-0

Detroit – Tariq Scubal scored out a season’s high 11 batter in six overs innings, and the Detroit Tigers finished the three-game sweep of Baltimore Oriols with a 7-6 win on Sunday.

Scubal (1-2) held four hits without walking. The reign is the winner of the reign Al -Si Young Award winner with 11 or more strikeouts with five carrier games.

Shawn Genta got three out in two innings and Kenta Maida got the last three out to finish the shutout.

As the Tigers completed an 8-2 homestand, Glayber Torres scattered three runs. Javier Bayez had two hits, scored two runs and driving in two more.

Jess Jong and Dillon Dingler have added the run-scoring single.

Baltimore Starter Dean Kremer (2-5) has released five runs and four hits in 5 2/3 innings. Oreals lost six of their last seven games.

In the second innings of the Tigers, two out of the Tigers, two runs from double to the left field 2-1. Kremer Spencer Torkerson and Trey Swinn were in trouble walking.

Scubal 2024 has been 12-1 with 1.86 ERA at Komarika Park since the beginning of the season. He is 2-0 at the beginning of three homes this year.

Baltimore RHP Tomoyuki Sugano (2-5, 4.1 ERA) will launch a three-game home series opener against New York Yankis on Monday. Detroit RHP Jack Fleharti (1-2, 2.63) will start a three-game series opener in Houston.
