Sony says it will raise prices from Monday for some PlayStation 5 Video Game console in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, citing global economic turmoil

London – Sony said that some PlayStation in Europe, Australia and New Zealand will increase prices for the 5 video game console in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The company unveiled the price of at least 5%, saying that it is a “tough decision” in “a challenging economic environment with high inflation and fluctuing exchange rates”.

According to a post on Sunday, the proposed retail price of the PS 5 digital version will go up to 499 Euro ($ 570) in Europe. It has risen from 449 Euro to the previously announced price update in 2022.
