South Korea’s liberal leader Lee wins party nomination to run for president

Seoul, South Korea – Coul, South Korea (AP)-Liberal Lebel Lee Ja-Myung became the main opposition party’s presidential candidate on Sunday for greater economic equality in South Korea and North Korea.

The former Democratic Party’s chief led the anti-controlled parliament union on imposing military law in December. The constitutional court of the country officially dismissed Yun earlier this month, encouraging the early presidential elections to search for the new president on June 3.

In a nationally television announcement, the Democratic Party has announced that Li won his presidential nomination by voting about 90% of the votes that were voted for about 90% during the initials of Sunday, defeating two contestants.

“Now, people and our party colleagues have given me the opportunity to win the post of President and build a new, real republic in Korea. Thank you! I would humbly support that passionate, serious work,” Lee said in a victory speech.

Lee, 60, who served as the governor of the most populous Gongi province of South Korea and the mayor of Seonam City, is clearly dear to win the election.

In a gallap Korea survey published on Friday, 38% of respondents chose their choice of choice, all the other aspirants received a single-digit rating. The original conservative People’s Power Party will nominate his candidate next weekend. Four presidential optimists who competed to win the party ticket in the Galp survey have won 23% support rating.

Lee will be the third bid to be a candidate for the post of President. He lost the 2022 election to Uni by a narrow margin of the country’s presidential elections. In 2017, Lee is third in the primary of a Democratic party.

Lee has long established an image as an anti-organization image that can eliminate deep-root discrimination and corruption in South Korea. However, his critics see him as a population who depends on the stokeing departments and raised opponents and feared that his rule could probably polarize the country.

Lee is currently facing five trials for corruption and other criminal charges. If he is president, these trials will probably stop because he will enjoy the special president’s resistance from most criminal allegations.

Lee’s rise comes when conservatives are fighting to fight to gain public confidence in the wake of the Uni Marshall Law Decret, which has been submerged in the country. The People’s Power Party is involved in internal quarrels among the senior members of the action and the reformist members who voted for its curse.

“This election is a place where the Constitution Court has issued a judicial verdict on the matter, the people hand over their verdict on imposing the military law,” said Choi Jin, director of the COL-based Presidential Leader’s Institute. “If they slide on military law and fail to apologize, it is difficult for the People to Power Power Party to win the election.”

When Yun declared marshal law and sent the troops to the National Assembly, he went to Livestream to the Legislative Assembly and called on the lawyers to gather there to protect the lawyers from possible arrests. Lee and others were able to enter an assembly hall to vote for Uni’s decree, forced him to lift it.

Lee recently made a few comments that can be depicted as very fierce and concentrated on ways to revive the economy, to simplify economic polarization and to overcome a national division.

“Restoring democracy is the path of the national unity. Economic growth is the path to the national unity of the national unity. The gap between us is the path of the national unity kai,” Li said in Sunday’s speech.

In foreign policy, Lee emphasizes the importance of a tripartite South Korea-US-Japan protection partnership. However, he has also been urged to cure bad relations with North Korea that peace can drive South Korea’s economic growth.

At an online talk show at a recent talk show, Lee said that he thinks that the United States will follow a better relationship with North Korea as a way to control China and this national position will provide diplomatic rooms to restore South Korea to North.
