The Messpekoa School District has filed a case against the state, but a federal judge has ruled against the district.

“I agree with the people in Messpekoa on Long Island, who are fighting to hold the Messpekoa Chiffs logo in their party and school,” Trump wrote. “It is ridiculous to change their names after all these years and in reality, an opposition to our great Indian population. The school board and practically everyone in the region is demanding the name. It is identified as the school and what can be wrong with the name, I can’t use their name?
