Washington – Vice President JD Vans Response Near Pope Francis’ death A day later Meeting with Pontif Easter Sunday, he said that he was “happy to see him yesterday”, though he mentioned that Francis “was obviously very ill.”

“My heart goes to a few million Christians around the world,” said Vans in a post by X. ”

The vice president spent his family in Rome a brief meeting with Francis on Sunday after spending the Easter Week -end. During this visit, Vice President Pontif told Pontif that it was nice to see him “in better health” and received a gift for himself and his family.

In Vans X, he said that he was “always remembered” for the violence he distributed for the Covid -1 epidemic “always remember”, called “really beautiful”.

Vans and Francis came after a strong disagreement over immigration for the long -term condemnation of the Pontif Trump administration. Vans, converted to Catholicism in 2019, acknowledged Francis’ criticism during a speech in Washington’s National Catholic Prayer in February, and said that his goal “is not to be correct and who is wrong with him or any other pile member.”

“Since I heard about Pope Francis’s illness, I say a prayer for the Holy Father,” Vans said at the time. “Because yes, I am sure that when he criticized our immigration policy like him, I also know that the Pope, I believe that the Pope, fundamentally, is a person who cares about the sail of Christians under his leadership.”
